Income protection
Global income protection (or permanent health insurance) pays a proportion of your salary if you are unable to work due to long term sickness or injury abroad, helping you to maintain the same standard of living.
Cover is especially important if you are working in a country where there is minimal or no state sickness benefit provision.
PMI Global can advise on and arrange global income protection cover to suit exactly what you need for your host country. Income protection cover will give you:
- Cover for up to 75% of your gross annual earnings (to a maximum of £90,000)
- Benefit paid for up to 24 months if you can’t return to your job, or longer if you are unable to return to any form of work.
- A choice of deferment period to keep premiums affordable (either 3 or 6 months)
